As you all know this has not been an overnight process. This is the culmination of many years of discussions, many years of research, presentations and conversations to a great number of prominent and influential groups, we've navigated red tape and various obstacles to get this far and we're excited to finally have all the pieces in place. Now we can move forward. In the latest LeoGen newsletter Winter Editionwe mentioned the need for Puppy Guardian Homes. We are aware that many people would like to help us with this venture and to be recipients of a project puppy but it has become clear to us that we need to limit our geographical spread for the first while.
Why? . . . . the next 2 paragraphs will help explain the why.
The success of the LeoGen will rely on building a network of dedicated helpers who are willing and able to take in puppies and raise them within their own family homes with all of the love, care and attention to detail that will be vital to the project’s success. Equal attention to nutrition, thoughtful exercise, thorough socialisation and training as well as love and security will all be necessary for every puppy to reach their full potential and this will take a community of helpers who share our vision.
The progress of every puppy will need to be carefully followed throughout their lives with health results, temperament and longevity outcomes all carefully monitored as part of the overall programme.
All of this follow-up will happen from within our LeoGen team so for these early days we are hoping to find homes in either Finland or Britain. If this seems like an opportunity you don't want to miss and you want to get involved then get in touch now. email: [email protected]
